Introduction: Hotstar presents to its customers another type of water heaters, namely 'Instant Gas Water Heaters' which is very economical, highly efficient and extremely user friendly. It operates on LPG. Since LPG is cheaper than electricity, it is not only more economical than the electric water heaters, but also saves the user from hassles of unscheduled electric power cuts.Operation: As soon as the water tap is opened, cold water enters the system and the in-built sensor triggers the release of gas into the burners. The electronic control unit then lights up the gas automatically. The built -in safety devices cut-off the gas supply in case the burner fails to light up or extinguishes during operation. The cold water passes through the heat exchanger unit where the water temperature rises before it could be drawn from the outlet. The temperature of hot water can be controlled using gas and water knobs/controls. When the water tap is closed, the water heaters shuts down automatically. Hence, it can be seen that flow of water controls the operation of the gas water heaters. Installation: The gas water heaters should be installed in a well ventilated location such as an airy bathroom/kitchen or corridor. It should not be installed in the open nor should it be exposed to strong wind or rain. The gas cylinder could be placed near the water heaters. However, if it is kept away, a copper pipe should be used for the transmission of gas.Economical and Efficient: The gas water heaters are far more economical because its operational cost is 70% cheaper than the conventional electric water heaters.
