HUMSER Oil seals (also called rotary shaft seals or lip seals) are critical components used in automotive and electric vehicles to prevent leakage of oil or lubricants and to keep dirt, moisture, and contaminants out of rotating shafts and bearings. They are commonly used in engines, gearboxes, differentials, wheel hubs, drive shafts, pumps and other components where a sealed rotating interface is required.🔍 How They Work Mechanical Seal Ring: Oil seals consist of a metal outer case and an elastomer (rubber) inner lip that contacts the shaft. Spring-Loaded Inner Lip: A small spring often reinforces the inner lip to keep consistent pressure against the rotating surface.
