Hydraulic rock splitter is a hydraulic control demolition method, non explosive non blasting good for hard rock marble granite demolition. How a rock splitter work: The hydraulic splitter consist of splitting cylinders and a power unit. Cylinders are powered by the high pressure power unit. Fuel tank piston and wedges are main component of cylinder. It need a pre-drill hole of required depth down on the material for movement of middle wedge. There is a valve on the top of cylinder to control piston work, when the power unit give pressure make the piston work, piston will pressure middle wedge move into bottom, and at the same time, middle wedge will push counter wedges move to sides, a huge horizontal splitting force is produced against to the hole wall, when the tension increases beyond the tensile strength of the material, a split will occur. Applications: Hydraulic cylinder is bigger, splitting force is bigger. Widely use in infrastructure, foundations, civil construction, tunnels, channels, funnels, barriers, dams, underwater demolition, old building demolition, mining and quarry industry, rock dismantle, bridge decks, airport and more. Advantages: Directivity: Hydraulic methods means controlled methods, cylinder handle direction will be the splitting direction, special if user carve a groove on the material, it will get a better effect. Safe: As a alternative technology compare to blasting, impact breaking, hydraulic method is vibration free, impact free, it means more safe then traditional methods. Economical:Hydraulic cylinder only need a very low fuel flow to drive the piston work, according to calculate, more economical then sawing, drilling. High efficiency: Only few seconds the rock splitter can split big stone into parts, and the cracks are deep and width if you tried a reasonable settlement and splitting cylinders.
