API 5L is a specification of pipes that are used in transportations of corrosive and non-corrosive fluids and gases at high pressures. The API 5L X42 Pipe is made with a chemical composition of carbon, manganese, potassium phosphorous, molybdenum, chromium, silicon, and sulfur. These pipes can be easily machined or bent. The API 5L X42 Seamless Pipe is designed with excellent mechanical properties. They possess a tensile strength of a minimum of 60,200psi and a yield strength of a minimum of 42,100psi. The API 5L X42 PSL1 Welded Pipe is produced when pieces of steel are welded together with the help of a filler. These pipes are easy to maintain and can last for many years. X42 ERW Pipe is highly resistant against all forms of corrosion and has highly stress-resistant. The wall thickness of these ERW pipes ranges between 2.11mm to 24.61mm. The API 5L Gr X42 HIC Pipeline possesses good resistance against pitting induced by hydrogen in various applications and systems. They have a nominal pipe size of 1/2 OD to 48 OD.
