A 2 Stage Vacuum Pump uses two stages to produce a vacuum. While a single-stage pump has one rotor and one set of vanes, a two-stage pump, on the other hand, has two sets of rotors and two sets of vanes. It processes the exhaust from the first stage, and it can produce a much deeper vacuum chamber, hoses, and fittings. The two-stages are the high pressure and the low pressure. Gas enters the inlet or suction chamber (high pressure stage) and is transferred to the low-pressure stage where it is immediately compressed by the vane of the rotor and expelled to atmospheric pressure.
