An Industrial RO (Reverse Osmosis) system is a manufacturing plant which purifies contaminated water through the process of reverse osmosis. The Industrial RO Water plant requires a variety of pre-treatment methods such as softening, dechlorination as well as antiscalant treatment.RO is the process by which pressure forces water through a semi-permeable membrane, creating a stream of treated water, called “permeate,” and a stream of reject water called “concentrate” or “brine.” These systems can potentially remove water contaminants such as lead.When pressure is added, to the higher level side, that is greater than the current osmotic pressure the flow will be reversed. This reversal allows the contaminant solution to be further concentrated and produces purified water. The adding of pressure to enact the reversal is called Reverse Osmosis or RO.
