A rack, also referred to as racking, is a structural design made of steel which consists of frames and connectors for storing goods in the warehouses or storage facilities. The rack is assembled by welding, bolting or clipping. Generally, it is known to be one of the fundamental tools in material handling industry.Slotted angle (also sometimes referred to as slotted angle iron) is a system of reusable metal strips used to construct shelving, frames, work benches, equipment stands and other structures.You not only use these racks to display a variety of products but also for storage purposes. For the latter, slotted angle racks serve as the ideal storage option as they can store a large volume of inventory. Also, they are expandable, which helps in meeting a more substantial storage demand.Slotted shelves are manufactured from sheet metal using pressing machines for punching holes and to form the angles. Metal strips get a coating to prevent it from rust.
