Operating Principle: Venturi wet scrubbers use a Venturi throat or constriction in the duct to create high-velocity gas flow, which draws in and atomizes scrubbing liquid (usually water) to capture and remove airborne contaminants. The scrubbed gas exits through a demister or mist eliminator to remove entrained water droplets. Applications: Venturi wet scrubbers are widely used in industrial processes where removal of particulate matter, aerosols, and gas-phase contaminants is necessary. Common applications include exhaust gas cleaning, odor control, and pollutant removal in industries such as metalworking, chemical manufacturing, and power generation.
