For industrial wastewater, treatment either takes place in a separate�industrial wastewater treatment plant, or in a sewage treatment plant (usually after some form of pre-treatment). Further types of wastewater treatment plants include�agricultural wastewater treatment plants�and�leachate�treatment plants.
