An arc welding machine is a device used for fusing metals. The machine emits an electrical arc from an electrode which melts metal or supplies filler into a joint between two pieces of metal. To produce the temperatures up to 3,600ºC needed to fuse metals, arc welding machines consume significant quantities of energy, Welding is a fabrication process whereby two or more parts are fused together by means of heat, pressure or both forming a join as the parts cool.The basic purpose of welding is to join two elements together with a firm connection. Welders typically work with metal or thermoplastic and use durable filler material to bind them together. Welding is used to create many modern constructions in our world, such as skyscrapers, cars, ships and airplanes.When the voltage applied to two spatially separated electrodes is gradually increased, the air insulation finally breaks and current flows between the electrodes, emitting bright light and high heat at the same time.
