Engineered using high-quality borosilicate glass, this reactor provides excellent chemical compatibility, thermal stability, and full visual observation of reaction processes, making it an indispensable tool for R&D laboratories, pilot plants, and small-scale production units.  Construction & Design The reactor vessel is fabricated from 3.3 borosilicate glass, conforming to international laboratory glass standards, ensuring high resistance to thermal shock, acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. The double-jacketed construction allows efficient circulation of a heating or cooling fluid through the outer jacket, enabling accurate temperature control across a wide operating range.  Temperature Control System The outer jacket is designed for circulation of thermal fluids such as water, glycol, silicone oil, or heat transfer oil, connected to an external circulating heater or chiller. This ensures:  Uniform heat transfer Rapid heating and cooling Stable and reproducible reaction temperatures The system supports both endothermic and exothermic reactions, making it ideal for temperature-sensitive processes in pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals.  Stirring & Mixing Mechanism The reactor is equipped with a mechanical overhead stirrer with variable speed control to ensure homogeneous mixing of reactants. Stirrer shafts and impellers are available in PTFE-coated stainless steel or solid PTFE, providing excellent chemical resistance. Different impeller designs such as anchor, turbine, propeller, or paddle type can be selected based on viscosity and process requirements, ensuring optimal mixing performance even for high-viscosity media.  Multi-Port Reactor Lid The reactor cover is designed with multiple standardized ports, typically including: Stirrer drive port Thermowell for temperature probe (PT100 / thermocouple) Addition funnel or dropping funnel Reflux condenser connection Sampling port Vacuum / inert gas inlet  Vacuum & Pressure Operation The Glass Double-Jacketed Reactor is suitable for vacuum as well as low positive pressure operations (within safe glass limits).
