JBD ESS 16S-150AMP SMART BMS - Yati Infotech SolutionThe JBD ESS 16S‑150A Smart BMS is designed for 16‑cell (16S) lithium‑iron‑phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery packs — nominally around 51.2 V. It supports up to 150 A continuous current for both charge and discharge, making it suitable for medium‑to‑high power energy storage applications such as home solar battery banks, inverters/UPS systems, or backup power setups.This JBD ESS 16S‑150A Smart BMS provides comprehensive battery protection and management: it includes essential protections against over‑charge, over‑discharge, over‑current, short‑circuit, and temperature extremes, safeguarding the entire battery pack and connected devices. It also offers cell balancing (passive equalization) to ensure that all 16 cells remain at similar voltages — which is critical for battery health, performance consistency, and longevity. On the monitoring side, the JBD 16S 150A Smart BMS supports communication interfaces such as CAN, RS‑485, UART, and often comes with optional Bluetooth or WiFi modules. This enables real‑time monitoring of battery parameters (cell voltages, temperature, current, state‑of‑charge), configuration of protection thresholds, and integration with inverters or energy management systems. Because of its balance of high current capacity, 16‑cell (≈ 48 V) support, and smart monitoring + protection functions, this BMS is especially well‑suited for home / small‑scale solar energy storage (ESS), inverter/UPS battery banks, off-grid backup systems, and other applications requiring reliable LiFePO₄ battery management under moderate-to-heavy loads.
