Jet Fans provide the ability to ventilate and extract smoke without using any ducts resulting in tremendous cost savings, power savings and increased installation efficiency. Jet Fans can be used for normal ventilation and also for smoke extract in case of emergencies, or a combination of both.
Jet fans or induction fans support the natural flow between the supply air and extract air zones. Since jet fans are only installed at particular points, they take up less than 0.5% of the ceiling area. Ventilair's Jet Fan is specially designed to achieve high impulse throw of discharging air. It consists of an attenuator at the suction and discharge site, pre-designed inlet and outlet guide vanes. The fan units are of high efficiency. Ventilair's Jet Fans with volume flow rate up to 1200 CMH and a throw distance of 35m attenuator at the suction and discharge site, well spun inlet and outlet venturi for laminar flow of air pre-designed inlet and outlet guide vane. Jet Fans add momentum to both air and smoke flow in a vehicle tunnel
