Today, they are used on all the world ‘s roads. The CDC offers the ideal surface sealing method and therefore excellent protection against corrosion. Thanks to the evenly thin coating, it may be painted over at any time. In the case of designs with rubber sealing lips, care must be taken to ensure controlled drying in a heat chamber (air temperature max. 75 °C). If necessary, clear any sealing lips that have become clogged by the application of paint around their edges with a blunt object. Additional paint application to the screw surfaces should be avoided due to the unfavourable settling behaviour of the screw connection.Low-maintenance ball bearing turntables and slewing rings Low-maintenance ball bearing turntables and slewing rings (green type plate) are equipped with a full-volume special grease filling that, in combination with the two sealing lips, allows freedom from maintenance for up to 3 years or 300,000 km under normal usage conditions. Re-lubrication is not required during commissioning. Once the maintenance-free period / distance has been completed, the ball bearing turntable or slewing ring must be subjected to thorough re-lubrication.Ball bearing turntables (BBT) and slewing rings (SR) are add-on parts for truck trailers and agricultural vehicles that connect the A-frame in a rotatable manner with the trailer frame.
