Extraction The oil is extracted using peel part using steam distillation method.Chemical Compositionb-pinene, limonene, fenchone, a-pinene, myrcene, 1,8-ceneole, citral, borneol, terpinolene, linalool, neral acetate and geranyl acetate. Essential Oil InformationAlso known as West Indian lime, the oil is derived from small evergreen tree producing small, bitter fruit similar to Lemon which is green in color with green fleshy interiors.
