A roots blower pump is a positive displacement rotary lobe pump that operates by pumping a fluid with a pair of meshing lobes not unlike a set of stretched gears. Fluid is then trapped in pockets surrounding the lobes and carried from the intake side to the exhaust.Roots blower is a kind of positive displacement pumps. The impellers, which keep a film-thin clearance between each other, rotate in the casing without contacting each other to transfer the gas from the suction end to the discharge end through the inner periphery of the casing.Twin lobe gas Blower is a positive displacement machine which discharges a constant volume. Pressure is not developed inside the Blower but by the demand of the system. Discharge pressure, therefore, varies to meet the system's load conditions (pressure and flow). 100% oil-free air delivery. High volumetric efficiency.
