A differential pressure switch is designed to measure the difference between two pressure points. The switch typically has twoports for pressure inputs, with a diaphragm. The diaphragm moves based on the pressure difference between the two ports.This movement activates or deactivates the switch's electrical contacts. When the pressure difference reaches apredetermined threshold, the switch triggers an action, such as turning ON or OFF a pump, valve, or alarm.The DPS701 differential low pressure switch can be used for low differential pressure indication with a set point on increasingor decreasing pressure. Instruments available operate at a differential pressure range from 2.5 to 75 psi on increasingdifferential pressure, and 1.0 to 70 psi on decreasing differential pressure. Static pressure can be applied up to 200 psi.Instruments that are provided with weatherproof protection comply with IP65. The instruments are equipped with an externaladjustment mechanism for the set point. Installation of the instrument is very easy & takes minimal time.● Suitable for most gas & water based applications● Weatherproof housing● Low installation time
