The L&T (Lauritz Knudsen) Cylindrical Capacitor is a key component for Low Voltage (LV) Power Factor Correction (PFC), designed to improve electrical system efficiency and reduce energy costs. Its cylindrical aluminum or metal casing offers a compact and space-saving design, making it ideal for APFC panels and motor applications. These capacitors utilize Metalized Polypropylene (MPP) film with self-healing technology, which enables them to automatically recover from minor electrical faults, ensuring a long operating life (e.g., up to 200,000 hours for Super Heavy Duty models). They include safety features like an Over Pressure Disconnector and are available in various duty cycles (Standard, Heavy, Ultra Heavy, and Gas-Filled) and ratings (kVAr) to suit different environments, including those with high harmonic content.
