SPECIFICATION: General Description Spotcheck SKL-WP is a general purpose water washable and solvent removable red colour contrast penetrant. SKL-WP exhibits outstanding penetrating characteristics which provides for maximum reliability in locating surface-open flaws and discontinuities. SKL-WP is formulated to give excellent controlled washability over a wide temperature range and variable dwell times. It can be used over the entire spectrum of industrial applications, where a visible penetrant inspection system meets the requirements for surface-open flaw detection. Applications Typical applications include castings, forgings, leak testing, welds and general metal work. SKL-WP has also been successfully used on non-porous ceramics and similar materials.
