Product Details
A magnetic level switch senses the liquid level inside a vessel by using a float that carries a magnet. As liquid level rises (or falls), the float moves and the magnet actuates a sealed contact (often a reed switch) inside a tube or housing. Advantages: simple mechanical design, good for point-level detection (e.g., "high" or "low" alarms), relatively rugged.
