Plain Counting Chamber Counting chambers are instruments for precise measuring.They are made of special optical glass and serve to determine the number of particles in liquids.Our counting chambers are manufactured in accordance with the DIN 12 847 and the German Calibration Ordinance.Plain Or Dark-lined or With Mirror:Standard counting chambers have counting grids which are engraved into the chamber bottom. Under the microscope the counting grid appears as a grid of dark lines.The Neubauer-improved chambers have 25 group squares with each consisting of 16 small squares = total 400 small squares of 0.05 x 0.05 mm
