What It Is A high-performance cement-based powder adhesive that you mix with water to form a mortar for laying tiles. Classified as C2E under ISO/EN standards: • C = cementitious adhesive • 2 = improved adhesion • E = extended open time (you have more time to adjust tiles). �� Where It's Used Kerabond Plus is ideal for: Bonding ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles, porcelain, terracotta and mosaics on walls and floors. Interior and exterior applications. Spot bonding insulation boards like polystyrene, polyurethane and rock/glass wool. �� Key Features Excellent adhesion to most building surfaces. Extended open time — more working time before the adhesive starts to set. Good workability and easy to trowel. Low shrinkage as it cures. Comes in grey or white powder form. ⏱️ Typical Application Times (approximate) Pot life after mixing: 8+ hours. Open time for fixing tiles: ~20–30 minutes before the surface starts drying. Ready for grouting: around 4–8 hours on walls, 24 hours on floors. Foot traffic: ~24 hours; full cure: ~14 days. �� Optional Performance Upgrade Mixed with a latex additive like Isolastic instead of water, Kerabond Plus can achieve higher deformability and enhanced performance (C2ES2 class).
