The oil injected rotary screw compressor is a positive displacement type compressor. A given quantity of air or gas is trapped in a compression chamber and the space that it occupies is mechanically reduced, causing a corresponding rise in pressure prior to discharge.Oil-injected rotary screw compressor: This type of compressor injects a liquid into the compression chamber to cool and lubricate the compressor's moving parts, cool the air being compressed in the chamber, and help minimize leaks from returns into the chamber during discharge.The screw compressor traps air between two meshed rotors, the air volume is then reduced as it moves through the rotors. The reduction in volume results in compressed air which is then used for a variety of applications.Rotary screw air compressors operate by trapping air between two meshed rotors and reducing the volume of that trapped air as it moves down through the rotors. This reduction in volume results in compressed air, which can then be used to power air tools, inflate tires, or in numerous other applications
