Membrane Bioreactor or MBR Sewage Treatment Plant is an innovative wastewater treatment method. As the name suggests, it combines two technologies, membrane filtration and the biological treatment.The sewage treatment plants are inoculated into Aerobic microorganisms . These organic components of these microbes utilize the sewage and reduce the toxicity which can be measured by BOD (Biological oxygen demand). After the biological treatment, the sludge is pumped from the treatment plant into an outsized tank.The process of removing pollutants from water before it enters any water body or is reused is termed cleaning of water. The process of wastewater treatment is commonly known as sewage treatment.It is a facility where physical, chemical and biological processes are used to treat the wastewater. In the wastewater treatment plant, firstly wastewater is passed through bar screens which removes large objects like rags, sticks, cans, plastics.
