An inline flow meter is a device installed directly into a pipeline to measure the volumetric or mass flow rate of a liquid or gas. Unlike external, non-invasive methods like clamp-on ultrasonic meters, inline meters require the pipe to be cut and the meter to be installed directly in the flow path.
