Most components of a Medical Oxygen Generator are quite similar to Medical Air Generators. A large compressor compresses atmospheric air, which is then passed through a dryer and a series of filters. Next are the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) towers where the dried and purified compressed air gets separated into oxygen and nitrogen.
The separated oxygen is further filtered, stored and delivered to medical gas pipeline systems. Duplex and High-Pressure Systems with oxygen booster for cylinder filling are available as options.
