The Metro B14 Granite Cutting Machine cuts granite blocks with high accuracy for factory use. It holds fifteen blades, each 2.5 metres across - many slices are taken right away. The largest block it accepts measures 3657 mm long, 2438 mm wide and 1066 mm high. A 9.5-metre beam gives the frame extra steadiness and keeps the cuts true. The frame is made from mild steel - it lasts for years. The machine works without manual help and turns out many clean, uniform slabs hour after hour.
