This in combination with proper control of the amount of hot working or cold working along with the selection of appropriate thermal or heat treatments results in the 400 Monel Hexagonal Pipe obtaining superior mechanical properties. Welding methods used on the 400 Monel Hexagonal Pipe include the following techniques i.e. gas arc welding, gas metal-arc welding, metal arc welding, as well as submerged arc. The welding process of Monel 400 ERW Pipe includes the use of appropriate filler metals. There is no necessity for performing a post weld heat treatment. Although the 400 Monel ERW pipe has to be thoroughly cleaned after welding the alloy.
