An H-frame press, also known as a shop press or hydraulic shop press, is a machine tool used for various applications such as bending, straightening, punching, pressing, and forming metal or other materials.The C-Frame press is ideal for shops in need of a versatile press capable of the common press functions. H-Frame Presses—also known as 4 post presses or 4 column presses— are much larger than C-Frame presses and generally more powerful.H-frame presses are so named for their H-like shape. They consist of a steel frame, posts, a press cylinder, and, optionally, a movable middle bolster.
