A hydraulic power pack is a stand-alone assembly consisting of a drive motor, hydraulic pump and hydraulic fluid tank. The drive motor is connected to the hydraulic pump via a shaft and drives this. The motor and pump can be installed on the tank, as well as inside the tank in oil.Hydraulic power units are used in a wide variety of applications and industries. They can be found on fishing boats and construction equipment, in food processing plants, paper mills and military equipment.Based on the construction, hydraulic power units(HPU's) are classified into a single-acting hydraulic power pack and double-acting hydraulic power pack.
