In other cases, edge banding is solid wood (usually from scraps) that is applied with glue or by making a groove in the piece of wood it needs to fit.PVC edge bands have been most commonly used over the years, but with more innovative approaches, we have a slew of options like veneer, melamine, wood, and even wood veneer edge bands.To produce thick edgebanding, high quality veneers are laminated together using the latest PUR and PVA technology. This results in a total thickness of 1mm to 3mm Thicker edgebanding is more robust and allows for the product to be bevelled.
