What It Is MYK LATICRETE 345 Super Flex™ is a polymer-modified, highly deformable thin-set tile adhesive in grey (also available in white). It's made as a powder you mix with water to create a tile-setting mortar. 📌 Key Features Multipurpose adhesive for tiles, porcelain, stone, and large-format panels. Polymer-modified for flexibility and bond strength (good for movement and different substrates). High deformability — designed to absorb substrate movement and resist cracking under stress. Suitable for both interior and exterior walls and floors. Works for thin-bed and medium-bed installations (up to ~15–18 mm thickness). Non-sag, easy trowel workability. 🧰 Typical Uses ✅ Bonding ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles ✅ Fixing natural stone tiles ✅ Large format tiles and panels ✅ Wet or high-movement areas (bathrooms, kitchens) ✅ Submerged areas like pools (when allowed) 🧪 Performance Standards The product typically meets international standards like: ANSI A118.4ET (bond strength) EN 12004 C2 TE S2 (enhanced deformability & slip resistance) IS 15477 Type 4/TS2 (Indian performance class) 🛠️ How It's Applied Prepare surface: clean, sound, and free of dust/oil. Mix powder with clean water to a smooth mortar. Slake (rest) a few minutes, remix. Apply with a notched trowel based on tile size for good coverage. Place tiles, adjust, and allow cure before grouting. 💡 As a thin-set tile adhesive, it's not premixed mastic but a dry mortar you mix before use — giving stronger and more durable bonding.
