Number of Tapes: Can weave multiple tapes simultaneously (often 2–12, depending on the loom). Speed: High-speed operation—can run at 1200 RPM or higher. Weft Insertion: Uses a needle instead of a shuttle, making the weaving faster and more efficient. Material Compatibility: Works with cotton, polyester, nylon, polypropylene, etc. Selvedge Formation: Produces clean and sealed selvedges to prevent fraying. Automation: Modern machines offer programmable control systems (PLC-based) and auto-stop functions. ⚙️ How It Works: Warp threads are fed from creels.
