Pollution Control Equipment Pollution control equipment removes and eliminates a wide variety of pollutants, known as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), including sulfuric fumes, gasses, odors and vapors from the atmosphere.PUC certificate is granted to a vehicle that has passed the PUC test. The test is conducted to check if the vehicle emissions are in compliance with the air pollution norms. This certificate is required for every vehicle type including LPG/CNG/diesel and others.Air pollution control devices used to control particulate matter are: Cyclone Separators, Fabric Filters, Cartridge Filters, Electrostatic Precipitators (ESPs), High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filters, Venturi Scrubbers, and Fiber-Bed Mist-Eliminators (used with Wet Scrubbers).
