These are the best brushes because they are specifically designed for optimal cleaning of printing equipment.Stainless brushes??are the best brush for optimal cleaning of ceramic anilox rolls and other hardened surfaces.?? They are offered with plastic or wooden handles. Plastic handles are generally preferred over the wooden handles to avoid the swelling sometimes associated with wooden handles.Brass Bristles??work well for getting dried ink and debris out of the surface of mechanically engraved chrome anilox rolls or (other soft metal surfaces). The brass bristled brushes are used because the softer bristles result in reduced wear to the roll surface when compared to the Stainless bristles. People like the plastic handle. The bristles are 1 inch long and .003 inch diameter??Note: brass bristles are not suitable for laser engraved ceramic surfaces.??Please do not use brass bristled brushes on laser engraved ceramic surfaces because particles of brass can lodge in the ceramic cells.Nylon bristled??brushes are designed for general hardened surfaces and for mechanically engraved chrome plated anilox rolls.Horse Hair??bristled brushes are designed for cleaning of printing plates and softer surfaces. Horse hair bristled brushes are not suitable for use on rolls, only for cleaning printing plates and other softer surfaces in the press room.
