The Nexans Euromold 400LR and 484TB are two distinct types of medium voltage (MV) separable connectors used for cable terminations, differing primarily in their interface type, current rating, and installation method.Detailed Product Breakdown Nexans Euromold 400LR Application: Designed to connect polymeric insulated cables to equipment (transformers, switchgear, motors) with Interface B bushings. Installation: Uses a plug-in 14mm pin connection. It is a "slip-on" technology that does not require heat. Safety: Features a thick-walled conductive EPDM jacket that is touch-safe. Nexans Euromold 484TB Application: High-capacity connector for Interface C bushings. It is the modern replacement for the older 430TB series. Bolted Connection: Uses a bolted M16 connection, providing high mechanical and electrical reliability for larger conductors. Expandability: Can be "piggy-backed" with other connectors or surge arresters (like the 800SA) to create multiple cable connections.
