Nitrile Rubber Cord is a solid elastomeric product made from nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) — a synthetic copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene. It combines good mechanical strength with excellent resistance to oils, fuels, greases, and many hydrocarbons, making it widely used as a flexible sealing and industrial component.Key Properties of Nitrile Rubber Cord Excellent resistance to oils, petroleum products, and greases. Good mechanical strength and abrasion resistance. Available in a range of diameters and hardness levels to suit applications. Typical operating temperature range (often ~-30°C to +90/120°C) depending on formulation. Moderate tensile strength and compression set.
