The NMG 7016 FXS Media gateway is used for connecting analog phones, faxes, and modems to a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) network or SIP PBX networks. Features and details are : The NMG 7016 FXS gateway has 16 FXS (Foreign Exchange Station) ports, which means it can connect up to 16 analog devices to a VoIP network, PBX Network, Branch connectivity. The device supports SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) for signaling and controlling VoIP communications. Supports a wide range of voice codecs, including G.711, G.729A/B, G.723.1, G.726, and iLBC, which are used for compressing and decompressing voice signals. The device has a built-in web-based management interface, which allows users to configure and monitor the device remotely. It supports features such as caller ID, call waiting, call transfer, call forward, and 3-way conference …etc. The NMG 7016 FXS gateway can be used with various VoIP systems, such as Asterisk, Freeswitch, Elastix and other SIP platforms. Compact and rugged design suitable for use in small and medium-sized businesses.
