Nylon Wire braided mesh is used for wire and cable protection, insulation, identification, and decoration. These meshes are expandable and designed for durability. It provides protection for hoses, cable assemblies, wire bundles, and fishing rods against abrasion and damage caused by excessive wear and motion. If you need to slide a set of wires or cable through it, push the mesh on either sides to widen the inner hole and slide the wires/cable through it.
