A nylon round bar, also known as a rod, is a cylindrical solid made from a polyamide (nylon) synthetic polymer, characterized by high strength, durability, wear resistance, and good machinability. It features excellent mechanical properties like impact resistance and a low coefficient of friction, making it ideal for replacing metals in applications such as bearings, gears, bushings, and rollers. Available in various diameters and lengths, it can be found in natural (off-white), black (sometimes with self-lubricating additives), and other colored grades for diverse industrial and DIY projects.
