In the pharmaceutical industry, ointments are manufactured by melting oil and aqueous phases in two separate jacketed vessels with agitators for proper mixing. The two phases are transferred to the main ointment vessel through valves and pipes. The additional stirrers in the main vessel provide agitation (1).Ointment Manufacturing Plants process homogenisation of semi solid with liquid components to produce ointments, creams, lotions & gels. There are three different vessels for individual operations connected with each other through pipelines & valves to process as one complete automatic ointment manufacturing plant.Planetary Mixer is used in various applications such as Ointments, Pharmaceutical Creams, Cosmetic Creams, Ceramics, Ink Pastes, Colour Pigments, Rubber, Compounds etc. Planetary Mixer is useful for thorough mixing of ointments, creams, lotions, toothpastes etc. in sterile or non-sterile conditions.
