A chiller removes heat from the process water and transfers it to air via a heat exchange process. Using a mechanical compressor and the wonders of the refrigeration cycle, water chillers are able to cool the water to below ambient temperature.The Freeze 1 ton (horsepower) chiller is an air cooled, stand alone industrial chiller designed for indoor operation. Capacity is 12,000 BTU's/hr at rated conditions. Set up for ambient temperatures 40 ºF to 100 ºF (for higher or lower ambient conditions please consult factory).This unit will provide approximately 600,000 BTU/HR with 50 F leaving chill water temperature and 95 F ambient conditions. Economical option to meet designed process demand. The unit weighs approximately 2900 lbs. in total with dimensions of 188” L x 88” W x 73” H.
