Package plants for biological wastewater treatment with activated sludge are a great way to achieve advanced wastewater treatment results in an economical manner. Alfa Laval package plants can be configured using a variety of processes and designed for either batch or continuous operation. This provides excellent flexibility in wastewater treatment options. Package plants of up to (approximately) 200,000 GPD for rectangular and 3 million GPD for field erected circular designs are available.

The Packaged Sewage Treatment Plant (PSTP) is housed in specially designed, highly durable FRP tank. These tanks are compact and can be utilized in a decentralized manner at any location, either it�s underground or above the ground. The Plant covers secondary stage of treatment where settled sludge from primary clarifiers is treated by anaerobic process to remove organic material. Thus the treated liquid (effluent) becomes clear and ready for use without any additional formalities.
Packaged Sewage Treatment Plant is a one stop solution for sewage treatment. The technology is user friendly, which helps to keep operational costs low. Based on latest technology, the PSTP has proven itself to be a very effective and environment friendly solution. The packaging of this plant in special designed FRP plant makes it handy and sturdy.
