Product Details
The Corrugated Box Bursting Strength Tester measures how much pressure a box can take before it tears - it works at up to 40 Kg/cm² and shows each 0.1 Kg/cm² step on a digital screen. The upper clamp grips the sample through a 35.5 mm hole and the lower clamp uses a 38.1 mm hole to keep the board flat. Indian factories build the unit from machined steel and seals that tolerate repeated hydraulic pulses. A hand wheel forces oil into a diaphragm - the oil pushes a rubber membrane against the board until the board fails and the peak load freezes on the display. Packers run this test on every batch to prove that the boxes meet the minimum burst value written in the contract. The same number appears each time the operator centers the same board - the plant knows the carton will survive the trip without splitting.
