Product Details
The Corrugated Box Compression Tester is a heavy duty machine that measures how much weight a corrugated box can bear before it collapses. It handles loads up to 1000 kilograms of force and keeps the error within one percent of the full range - the numbers stay true. Four matched load cells sit under the platen and spread the force evenly. The platen moves at a fixed speed of 12.5 millimetres per minute, give or take 2.5. A 1.5-horsepower induction motor from Crompton or Bharat Bijlee drives the screw giving steady power during long test runs. A back lit LCD panel shows the force reading as the test proceeds - the operator sees the result at once. The frame carries a thick powder coat finish that resists scratches and rust - the unit survives dusty factory floors year after year. Packers use the tester to check whether boxes will hold stack loads in warehouses and trucks and the data tells them if the design needs more board or stronger glue.
