Product Details
The Digital Bursting Strength Tester measures how much pressure paper, cardboard, corrugated sheets and other packaging materials tolerate before they burst. The display resolves 0.1 Kg/cm². The upper clamp holds the sample with a 35.5 mm opening - the lower clamp uses a 38.1 mm opening. A hand wheel closes both clamps so the disk cannot slip. Oil pressure pushes a rubber diaphragm upward until the specimen ruptures - the pump delivers up to 40 Kg/cm². A four digit panel shows the peak value in real time and switches among Kg/cm², kPa, psi plus bar. The frame, machined and painted in India, follows TAPPI T-403, ASTM D 774, ISO 2758 and IS 1060. Packers set a pass fail limit and print the result after each test. The zero key clears the sensor - the memory key keeps the last hundred peaks.
