Product Description
The Digital Double Column Tensile Strength Tester, Capacity: 5000 Kgf handles pulls up to 5000 Kgf. A solid steel frame with two upright columns keeps the unit steady while large forces act on the sample. Inside sits a well known ‘S Type’ load cell that resolves force changes as small as 0.5 Kgf - a separate sensor tracks length changes down to 0.1 mm. A 3 hp Crompton or Bharat Bijlee induction motor, paired with its own gearbox, moves the crosshead anywhere between 40 mm/min and 400 mm/min so operators match the speed to the material under test. Plastics, cloth and composite samples all fit the grips. A bright digital panel shows force and extension numbers as they rise letting the user record or store the data on the spot. Quality-control offices and research laboratories use the machine to check that products meet global tensile test rules.
