The Photovolt Type Brightness Reflectance Tester is a modern, advanced instrument designed for electronically measuring and digitally presenting the brightness, opacity, and gloss of paper and other similar materials. It works by angular reflectance and ensures highly precise and reliable results. The Pap-Tech Reflectance Meter, built with imported optical components, provides unparalleled accuracy for various paper quality assessments. Key Features Precision Measurement: Provides precision measurements with a deviation of less than ±0.5% FS between instruments. Brightness Measurement:Measures the reflectance of light using a deep blue gelatine filter #49 with an integrated selenium photocell for highly accurate brightness readings. Opacity and Gloss Measurement: Opacity: Uses a green filter from the tristimulus filter set to measure material opacity. Gloss: Measures specular reflectivity at a 75º angle of incidence using a glass filter for accurate gloss assessment. Accessories Provided: White Enamel Standard: For calibration. Polished Black Glass: To represent minimal reflectance. Cavity Sample: Represents zero reflectance. Technical Specifications Sensor: Selenium Photocell. Brightness Search Unit: Includes a deep blue gelatine filter, an infrared-absorbing glass, a photovoltaic cell, and a light source. Opacity Search Unit: Equipped with a green filter from the tristimulus filter set. Gloss Search Unit: Features a glass filter for measuring gloss at 75º angle of incidence.
