5-thread overlock machine is designed for overseaming and joining of non-flexible materials. Suitable for working clothes, shirts, trousers, sportswear and bed sheets. The machine applies 5-thread chainstitch with 2 needles, stitch code 516.General Purpose Overlocking Thread is exactly what it says on the tin. It is a fine, smooth, relatively strong thread designed to run superbly at high speeds and can be used on both the overlocker needle or looper. This all rounder is available on 250m & 1000m bobbins and also a 7500m thread cone.An overlock sewing machine, or serger as it is commonly known, can trim, stitch, and overcast seams as they sew. They can also be used for applications such as inserting a zipper and creating beautiful decorations with certain stitches.
