AHU Rubber Flapper – Description An AHU rubber flapper is a flexible sealing component installed inside the Air Handling Unit, typically at damper sections, air inlets/outlets, or door interfaces, to prevent air leakage, backflow, and vibration noise. The flapper is made from high-quality EPDM / neoprene / nitrile rubber, offering flexibility, durability, and resistance to temperature, moisture, and aging. It opens and closes smoothly with airflow, ensuring proper airflow direction control while maintaining airtight sealing when airflow stops.
